Every evening I think to myself, would I want to live today over again? A lot of times I think, eh, it wasnt bad, but not great. Sometimes i think heck yeah! Rarely do I ever say nope. Today sucked. I make it a personal goal in life to live each day so I would be ok to live it over and over again if I had to. Today would be that day. Minus the near death experience at the end. :)
It is sunday. I woke up eary, even though I went to bed late, cause I was motivated to get my business done. There was an awesome service at church. It was about how it is not us who needs to take credit for our good works done, it is God who gets all the credit. It is through God, and only God that we achieve great things in life. My 4 year old said it best. I said Corbin, where did this bowl spoon come from? He said it came from God. Cause he makes all the stuff. So true son. So true.
I also started my personal Body by Vi 90 day challenge this morning. 2 shakes, 1 for breakfast, 1 for lunch. I am excited to see my progress over the next 90 days! I also hosted my first challenge party today! I invited a bunch of people over. I got a lot of maybes from people. in the long run I had 2 friends show up, my sisters, my mom, my mother and father in law and my sister in law. I sold 3 shape kits! Which means my kit is free next month. It was awesome and i am very excited to get these ladies to their goals!! my mom bought 1 kit because she is awesome. She is going to give them to my brother and sister for breakfast cause they dont eat breakfast in the mornings. This is a great product for that.
After my party I went to a training meeting hosted by a ViSalus 1 star ambassador in Columbus. Apparently this wasnt just a meeting for anyone, because I was in a room filled with a ton of people who were either pretty high up in the business, or sucessful business owners who are looking to network with their own business and ViSalus. Who knew!! We got to mingle for a while, I met some awesome people, and heard get motivating words from jeremy. It was a fantastic event. And man is his apartment cool.
I decided to bike downtown because it takes forever on the bus to get down there. Sucky. Its one of the first nice days since the snow has let up so the ride was great. And I love biking from worthington to to downtown. The different cultures that you get to see on High st in those 8 miles has always amazed me. Its one of my favorite rides. While I was at the meeting it started storming. Thankfully it had stopped by the time that I left, but the ground was soaked! I made it to my last quarter mile left till I was home, and everything was fine and all of the sudden this taxi mini van turned left form the opposite direction to turn into the drive infront of me. I assumed he saw me but I slowed a little and then I noticed that he was not slowing. Between the super slippery road and the fact that I havent had my brakes tuned since sitting for the winter I barely stopped. Right before i hit the taxi I had to cut my front wheel to the side which caused me to topple off the bike and the van finally stopped. it took every restraint I had in my body to not hit the taxi and cuss the guy out... but I knew that wouldnt have been a good idea, and I always believe in being nice. In whatever I do. The man apologized. to me, but man was I firm with him about how important it is to pay attention to bikers... I am fortunate to have not been hit by a car yet. But my husband has been hit 3 times!
God is watching over me and blesses me more and more with each passing day. Every day I choose to put Him first in everything I do, and fully live my life for him. He is the reason I am the way I am today and every day I will praise His goodness.
